This tour firstly stops at PuriAgungKarangasem – Karangasem Royal Palace which still very well maintained with its architecture and lay out. We than proceed to the local market at Amlapura – for a bit of fun, lose yourself in side of PasarAmlapura. As the mostly tradition in Bali the shopkeepers tightly packed home as rise above the narrow shops. The eastern mostly selling ready-made flower offerings, the northern section of the market display t-shirts and pants, arrangement of under wear, sewing kits and flip plops. After that we drive to the beach ward at Ujung village to stop at the remnants of the first water castle by the last king of Karangasem. Then you will amaze in the scenic drive along the eastern edge of the island of Bali as it circles around on the slope of Mt. Seraya – the left side of the road you will see villages and countryside where they expect waters only from the rain and palm wines or some time have to go down to the beach for bathing while along the right side of the road you will see the dramatic view of the cost below with the back ground of the Indian Ocean. Up to Amed the fishing village now there are many of small bungalows and restaurants along the coast and we will stop at the fisherman village to see the traditional salt panning. We continue to drive through panoramic landscape where the condition is very in contradiction with the previous. Lush fertile hills, rice fields and countryside up to TirtaGangga – the holy water garden. En-route back to the hotel we drive through Budakeling village, Bebandem and Bungaya – beautiful countryside a wait along the way back.

Note: Lunch is not included – will take you having lunch in a small local restaurant by the beach in Amed in which you can spend time on the beach there after lunch; sun bed is provided by the restaurant. Snorkeling is also a fun for the kids as that is Amed famous for. Snorkeling is just few meters off shore. Be ready with your swim suite, snorkeling equipment is extra charge.

This trip is a wonderful photographic opportunity – a stop for lunch can be done at a restaurant on the way.

If you prefer to do exploring the beautiful nature of the eastern Bali – we encourage you to do hikes around Sibetan Village. Takes about 30 minutes from Candidasa area up to the lush and green hills dominated by Salak fruit or snake skin fruits. The local tour guide will take you to have about 3 hours trek exploring the panoramic view of rice fields, rainforest, hills and valleys. The trekking will end up at the local house and you will be served a delicious local lunch. We can add some daily activities there with the local family before you get back to the hotel.
