As you arrive at Jakarta International Airport you will be met and greeted by your tour guide and driver.  You will have a brief orientation tour on Jakarta the capital city of Indonesia as you drive to the hotel. Visiting The National Museum standing at 137 meters, Sunda Kelapa and Batavia. Sunda Kelapa was a busy harbor during the 16th century which is now become fishermen wharf and inter island port.  We stop at the old city Batavia before proceeding to your hotel for check in. 

Stay overnight at the hotel in Jakarta city. 

After breakfast we leave Jakarta to Bandung in West Java. The tour will include to visit the Miniatur Park of Indonesia to see a glimpse of the Indonesian archipelago. We then continue to one of world class botanic garden which is officially established by the Dutch in 1817. Hosting over 15.000 species of tropical plants from around the world and about 3.000 varieties of orchid. We proceed to Bandung through magnificent lush and green valleys in Puncak with full of tea plantations.

Upon arrival in Bandung we check in hotel for overnight.

This morning our tour to explore the beauty of nature and culture in West Java. We drive to Mount Tangkuban Perahu via small town Lembang where most people here grow vegetables and fruits for their living. As we drive further through scenic rainforest in the rim of the volcano you will be amazed by beautiful panorama of huge crater. You also feel the fresh air and its cool climate at about 2000 meters above sea level. We will stop and walk down through the fine forest to see Domas crater where you will find boiling water from the crater.  We walk back to parking area and drive down hill passing beautiful tea plantation to Sari Ater. We enjoy beautiful surrounding mountain slope providing spa , health center, hot spring water pool. You can soak in the mineral rich water, which has been proven good for healing skin problem. We drive back to Bandung to stop at Saung Udjok to enjoy famous West Java traditional bamboo music orchestra. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Check out in the morning after breakfast to catch the morning train to take us to Jogjakarta in Central Java. The journey passes through beautiful mountain scenery, river, villages up to  Jogjakarta. Upon arrival in Jogjakarta transfer to hotel. Check in for overnight.

After having breakfast at the hotel we will do Jogjakarta city tour visiting Sultan’s Palace and Tamansari water castle. Tamansari was a recreation garden or resting house for the royal family. The highlight of the tour today is visiting The Borobudur and Prambanan Temple. Both magnificent ancient monument is very well preserved by the government of Jogjakarta. Borobudur was a spiritual centre of Buddhism in Java before it was lost until its rediscovery in the eighteenth century. We drive back to the hotel for overnight.

Your Java Bali Overland Tour package continue to Malang a cool city in East Java.  We leave Jogjakarta in the morning on a train to Jombang to catch another train to Malang.

Upon arrival Malang you will be escorted to the hotel. Enjoy your afternoon free at the hotel.

This mornincg your Java Bali overland tour continue to explore some places in East Java. Check out from hotel after breakfast and doing a short city tour in Malang before heading to Tosari village.  We will stop and visit colorful local flower market, Singosari Temple.

We also drive to the tea plantation at Wonosari high up in the mountains with beautiful surroundings. Walk around at the extensive plantation or have some drinks. If time permits we will have a chance to visit to Waterfall just behind the Purwodadi Botanical Garden.  We then proceed to drive passing bit of winding road with mountainous view heading to Tosari village.

Early morning wake up after a cup of tea/coffee drive with 4 wheels Jeep up to Mt. Pananjakan the highest view point (2700m) to see the sunrise. Enjoy the spectacular view of Mt. Bromo and surroundings (subject to the weather). Drive down hills passing the caldera continue horse riding to feet of Mt. Bromo then climbing up 250 steps to the crater rim. Enjoy the marvelous views of Mt. Bromo and its surrounding (subject to the weather). Return to hotel for breakfast and we proceed to drive heading to Kalibaru, a little town in East Java which is famous for the coffee and cacao plantation.


After breakfast we leave Kalibaru to drive to Banyuwangi the eastern tip of Java Island. As soon as we arrived hotel we check in and time for relax and preparation for the trek to Ijen.


After an early wake-up call travel with a four-wheel drive Land-Rover through exotic plantations and dense rainforests to the Park Ranger Station of Mount Ijen in Paltuding. Begin the 1,5 hours hike to Ijen crater along a shady trail with spectacular views. Rest along the rim of the volcanic crater lake at an elevation of 2,883 meters. The sulphuric lake reflects eerie color over the surrounding walls. Smoke wafting from bright yellow sulphur deposits along the shore create a landscape both desolately barren and vibrantly alive. Witness miners descend into the crater and re-emerge carrying up to 80 kilo sulphur ore on bamboo baskets along the 3 kilometers treacherous path. After absorbing this unique scene, walk down the mountain and return to hotel, then transfer to harbor Ketapang crossing the Bali by ferry, dropping to Pemuteran

Just off the northwest coast of Bali lies the tiny island Pulau Menjangan (Deer Island), an uninhabited island 8 km wide, surrounded by hectares of excellent coral reef. The island is situated in the protected marine reserve of the Bali Barat National Park and has a very diverse eco biology. Most visitors rate this as the best snorkeling spot in Bali, and divers place it high on their list too. Menjangan National Park is famous destinations among snorkelers from all over the world. The beautiful corals of the island are not to be missed.

We leave Pemuteran the northern coast of Bali and drive to the center of Bali on the rim of Mt Batukaru. On the way we will stop at Munduk village for a coffee break while enjoying the stunning view of the twin lake; Tamblingan and Buyan. And then as we drive down to the southern plains we will also stop at Bedugul a beautiful mountain resort with its lake and the small beautiful temple built on the lake dedicated to the goddess of the Lake Beratan. The next stop is Jatiluwih for a stunning view of terraced rice fields before we proceed to Umabian.


The trip to include to visit picturesque Royal Temple at Mengwi which is dating back to 1062, Monkey forest sanctuary at Kedaton village and the highlight of the tour is to visit Tanah Lot temple – a sacred 16 century temple built on a black lava rock 200 meters offshore. Experience the sun set beyond the temple and its magnificent view of the surrounding (if the weather permit).


Afternoon pick up at the lobby and then we drive to Ubud with a stop at Tanah Lot Temple – an ancient temple dated back to the 11 century built on a lava rock about 200 meters offshore. Enjoy the spectacular of the surrounding view with the back ground of the Indian Ocean before we continue to Ubud – Tjampuhan Resort for check in and overnight.


Pick up from the lobby of Tjampuhan Resort for the tour to Ubud – the artistic heart of Bali. First visit is at ARMA Museum from which tourist can also learn very closely the history of Balinese arts, culture as well as the daily life of Bali through the masterpieces of well known Balinese artist as well as foreign artist once who resided in Bali for long time.  Then walk around in the rainforest beneath the lush and green towering trees to enjoy the nature and the monkeys inhabit the rainforest. We visit Gunung Kawi ancient pilgrimage of King Udayana the first king that ruled in Bali, then we drive to Tegalalang village to see beautiful view of terraced rice fields before proceed to see spectacular sight of thousands White Heron arriving homes in Petulu Village. They nest on the trees along the road through the village, and make a spectacular sight as they fly in and commence squabbling over the prime perching places. We drive en-route back to Ubud center for dinner (not included) and Balinese performance at the Ubud Palace.


Afternoon pick up at the lobby and then transfer to Sanur for the rest of your stay before you leave back home. Check in at Peneeda View Resort.
