After breakfast we leafe the hotel for a half day tour to visit Tenganan – a village of the Bali origin. The village is very uniquely set up – all the housing complex and other paublic facilities such as metting hall and other things is surrounded by wall so when you enter the complex is just like one huge compound. Their religious practice is very much different than the other Balinese as well as their tradition too is very unique and still very strongly well kept and respected; inter merriage in their community and if somebody married to an outsider than they are no longer allowed to live in the complex (not being exciled), No one in the village are allowed to cut a tree in their forest until the tree itself is broken or dead alreay. We are allowed to strall and see their complex and see their daily life. As you finish stralling in the village we will take you to Virgin Beach – is the only white sand beach found in the eastern area of Bali. May be because it is beautiful and secluded that is why the tourist name the beach as “Virgin Beach”. Its your day for relax, swimming and sunbathing or take a walk to absorbe the beautiful view along the beach before we go back to the hotel in just about 15 minutes drive.

This tour firstly stops at the local market at Amlapura – for a bit of fun, lose yourself in side of Pasar Amlapura. As the mostly tradition in Bali the shopkeepers tightly packed home as rise above the narrow shops. The eastern mostly selling ready-made flower offerings, the northern section of the market display t-shirts and pants, arrangement of under wear, sewing kits and flip plops. After that we drive to the beach ward at Ujung village to stop at the remnants of the first water castle by the last king of Karangasem. Then you will amaze in the scenic drive along the eastern edge of the island of Bali as it circles around on the slope of Mt. Seraya – the left side of the road you will see villages and countryside where they expect waters only from the rain and palm wines or some time have to go down to the beach for bathing while along the right side of the road you will see the dramatic view of the cost below with the back ground of the Indian Ocean. Up to Amed the fishing village now there are many of small bungalows and restaurants along the coast and we will stop at the fisherman village to see the traditional salt panning. We continue to drive through panoramic landscape where the condition is very in contradiction with the previous. Lush fertilise hills, rice fields and countryside up to Tirta Gangga – the holy water garden. En-route back to the hotel we drive through Budakeling village, Bebandem and Bungaya – beautiful countryside a wait along the way back.

Note: Lunch is not included – will take you having lunch in a small local restaurant by the beach in Amed in which you can spend time on the beach there after lunch; sun bed is provided by the restaurant. Snorkelling is also a fun for the kids as that is Amed famous for. Snorkelling is just few meters off shore. Be ready with your swim suite, snorkelling equipment is extra charge.

(This trip is a wonderful photographic opportunity – a stop for lunch can be done at a restaurant on the way)

After breakfast leave the coast of Candidasa in the morning and drive to the countryside in the elevation of about 900 meters above sea level in the rim of Mt. Agung the most sacred mountain in Bali. Our first stop is at Goa Lawah “Bat Cave” Temple is one of the most sacred temples in Bali and then you will also have a chance to see the traditional salt panning at the beach just near by the temple. Here you can see how the local people process the sea water into white salt cristal in a very traditional way. We then proceed to Semarapura city the former capital of Semarapura Kingdom – here you will see some remains of the Kingdom; the palace and the most unique things is its ancient Court of Justice – with its mural paintings depicting the life after death, karmic law and etc. We drive to a near by village called Tihingan Village famous of its home industries of Balinese gamelan “music instrument”. Visit one of the home industry and see how the gamelan is made. From Tihingan we will drive up to the inner side of the island through countryside with a stop at another home idustry which has a very unique products of traditional Balinese ikat at Sidemen Village. We crusie more countrysides with panoramic view of terraced rice field up to Rendang village – a stop for lunch in a small restaurant with stunninng view of terraced rice field. After having lunch have a chance to make a photo shoot of the surrounding panoramic view before we drive through lush and green countryside to Kintamani with its huge ancient crater of the most active volcano in Bali – Mt. Batur with its lake shimmers like blue sheet of glass shimmers beside the volcano – another great photographic opportunity and this will be your last stop before proceeding to Ubud.

Ubud is Bali’s heart of beauty and there are many well known foreign artists reside in Bali as they found it is an inspiring place for their masterpieces.  This morning we will pick up you at the lobby to a village called Lantang Hidung about 30 minutes drive from the hotel to meet a Balinese artist at his house. Here you will interact with him and will introduce you about Balinese paintings. As he also will prepare canvas, paints, other equipments and also guide you with the techniques to finish your paintings. Balinese lunch will be served by the family as you now being part of his family- and he will be happy to talk about life and exchange knowledge. After a coffee or tea we say good bye to the family and back to the hotel. You will bring home your own masterpiece for your own collection and your memorable experience with the Balinese artist.

After breakfast we leave Ubud and drive to up to Lovina Beach in the north of Bali. We stop at Taro village to join the elephant safari tour, the attraction of talented elephant show and also do close interraction – we drive through the beautiful countryside of Payangan. It is a panoramic view of countryside with various kind of vegetation along the way up to Bukit Penulisan down to Kubutambahan. Stop can be made at Meduwe Karang Temple in which the ornament of the wall in its temple decorated with Dutch influence.

Early wake-up around 5.00 then prepare to embark on the traditional fishermen boat called “jukung” to see the dolphin in their natural habitat along the coastal of Lovina.

This afternoon trip will take you to a famous natural hot spring in a village called Banjar, where people come to swim as they believe that the water have curative power. Then proceed to see the beautiful and peaceful Buddhist sanctuary before we drive back to the hotel

We leave Lovina the northern coast of Bali and drive to the center of Bali on the rim of Mt Batukaru. We will pass on the back road of the countryside and on the way we stop at Pedawa Village to visit a family whose daily life is making sliced bamboo box which is usually used for putting offerings on it but now it is multi functionally used in the daily life – here you can learn from them how to make a small and simple one and if it is ready it can be your souvenir from this village. Next stop is at Munduk village for a coffee break while enjoying the breathtaking view of the twin lakes; Tamblingan and Buyan. And then as we drive down to the southern plains we will also stop at Bedugul a beautiful mountain resort with its lake and the small beautiful temple built on the lake dedicated to the goddess of the Lake Beratan. The next stop is Jatiluwih for a stunning view of terraced rice fields before we proceed to Sanur
