Day 1 – Arrival

Flight arrived at Denpasar / Ngurah Rai International Airport – Detail to be advised. Your tour guide will meet and greet you at the waiting area as soon as you finished the immigration and costoms procedure.

This morning will spend your day at the Bali Safari & Marin Park to enjoy the best safari experience in Bali at the home of hundreds of amazing animals representing over 60 species, including some rare and endangered species such as the Komodo, Orang Utan, and the Bali Mynah and the highlight is the spectacular cultural Bali Agung show is also included.

Day 3 – Trekking Mt. Batur (B,L)

Leave Ubud in the early morning – 4.00 am after having a light brekfast with coffee and tea then we drive to Mount Batur – the most active volcano in Bali. We will take about one hour and 45 minutes to drive from Batubulan to the start point. Over about two hour trekking you will arrive at the sumit of the volcano to have an opportunity of seeing the fantastic view of a huge ancient caldera, the black lava and the beautiful Batur Lake that shimmers like a blue sheet of a glass. After about half hour enjoying the sumit we then trek down and after the trekking we will take you to a natural hot spring pool by the lake of Batur for your leisure (bring your swim suite if you want to swim as the water is believed to have curative power) and having lunch there before we drive back to hotel.

Day 4 – Enchanting East Bali Tour (B,L)

After breakfast – this morning we will explore more about the culture of the local Balinese. We will see the colorful and exciting Barong Dance that told us about endless fight between the good and the evil as it no one win and lose. This story is taken from the Hindu Bali philosophy and belief that the world is construct by two opposing forces; good and bad, day and night and its countless until thre is birth and there is also death. The God can not kill the bad as its for us to know the good we should also know the bed and in practical life we should keep the balance.

After the performance finished we will visit one of local school nearby and to have a chance to personally interract with students and teachers about learning and teaching process. And then we continue ot visit to a famous artist at his house and then we learn about Balinese traditional paintings; canvas, paints and other materials is provided and you can take your paintings home for your memories.

Day 5 - Check Out – Verdant Island Tour –Check In At Home Stay At Jatiluwih (B,L,D)

VERDANT ISLAND TOUR

This fascinating tour will take you to explore the beauty of nature and rural countryside of Bali. First we stop at the Royal Temple of Mengwi – dating from 1634, this picturesque temple complex is surrounded by a moat, with multi roofed MERU shrines and intricately carved wooden gates. Then we drive to countryside – Bali Botanical Garden, Visit Candi Kuning – fruits and flowers market with its exotic wild orchids, roses and even strawberries. Next stop is Bedugul – an attractive mountain resort located about 850 meters above sea level. Serene Lake Beratan fills the ancient crater of Mt. Batukaru and the local people honor the goddess of the waters in the delightful small temple on the water.

Then we drive to countryside – through a scenic drive ‘off the beaten track’ with time to stop and appreciate the tranquil beauty of Bali. Your guide will enlighten you on the Balinese farming traditions, villages and farmland in the fertile volcanic foothills of the Batukaru Mountains. You will see abundance of tropical fruit, spices, coffee, vegetables, and flowers. It’s no wonder that the community here is considered Bali’s farming elite – they have created a true masterpiece – an endless and intricate jigsaw of finely-curved rice terraces in brilliant shade of green, with glistening waters, so soothing to the eyes.

We proceed to a village where you will stay for two nights and after check in we will do a village orientation tour activities that show you about traditional Balinese architecture, Lontar writing in Balinese scripts and while we having the coffee or tea + traditional Balinese cake.

Day 6 – Village Activities (B,L,D)

After breakfast we visit local market to buy some ingredients or visit garden to pick up some ingredients. We learn and practice on Balinese cooking on traditional recipes and make your own delicious lunch.

In the afternoon we will take a short trekking to the rice neighboring rice field en-route we can learn about many kinds of plantation that very well grown in the villager such as coffee, cacao, bamboo and etc. In the rice field we than learn about traditional cultivation of local rice, unique Balinese irrigation system, plowing a field with cows, and paddy plantation. (sandals, short and t shirt is recommended)

After fun activities we go back to the home stay by riding local transportation.

Day 7 – Check Out – River Rafting – Transfer To Kuta

WHITE WATER RAFTING AT AYUNG RIVER

Get ready for a fun and wild adventure on the Ayung River. You will drive up towards one of Bali’s volcanoes to the rafting start base – approximately half hour travel time. After a walk down over stairs to the river through the Ayung valley gorge, you’ll board your raft. Enjoy the exhilarating adventure of shooting one of the many rapids spread along the river. On a quieter stretches of water, relax and take in the beautiful gorges overhung by vines, cascading waterfalls and stunning flora and fauna. The Ayung River is suitable for beginner (with a rafting grade of 2-3, on a scale where 6 is the most difficult). You need to be physically fit for the walk down to and from the river. Prepare to get wet on this excursion. Towels are provided but bring along a swimsuit and dry clothes. Wear sturdy shoes or closed toe sandals that are suitable for hiking and water.

After lunch at the White Water Rafting than we proceed to Kuta – a famous Beach Resort in the southern part of Bali.

Day 8 – Uluwatu – Sunset Tour + Kecak Dance

This tour will take you to go the southern tip of Bali. Rocky clips drop almost 100 meters to the ocean. The famous temple of Uluwatu balances picturesquely on the cliff edge – dating from the 10^th century. Enjoy the spectacular sun set view and the surrounding temple with the Indian Ocean as a back drop. As the sun go down we will see the famous entertaining Balinese performance Kecak Dance or “Monkey Dance” perform by about 50 dancers which tells you most famous Hindu epic of Rama and Shinta.
